Career Highlights:
- He pitched a perfect game on May 8, 1968 against the Minnesota Twins. He is the youngest man to have ever pitched a perfect game.
- He made the American League All Star team 8 times.
- He won the American League Cy Young award in 1974.
- He pitched on five World Series championship teams, including 3 with the Oakland A’s and 2 with the New York Yankees.
