I thought this was an interesting piece of baseball history. I found out that Jefferson High School produced something like five major Leaguers and two of them played against each other in the 2001 world series. That is unreal, I don’t think my high school has even produced one major leaguer. Here’s an article about it.

Hey Travis,
Thanks for the comment! Man, that is quite a few Major Leaguers from one school!
I went to John F. Kennedy High in Fremont, CA. I know one guy from around my time, Randy Ready, went to the major leagues in the 1980’s. He came up as a third baseman for the Brewers when Paul Molitor was going strong! Talk about a tough guy to be competing with! He later went to the Padres, Phillies, and even was on the A’s for a year. He was recently a hitting coach for the Padres. Man, that guy could roll out of bed and hit a double, which goes to show you how tough it is to make the big leagues!
